Athletes Who Have Engaged With Us

Elijah Molden

“FCA staff helped me transition from high school to College in finding my relationship with the Lord.”

"I truly value my partnership with FCA because our mission is in alignment.  I love to show other coaches and student athletes that God cares about our sport and can use our skills and passion for sport to love on our teammates and players, and ultimately bring glory to Him. FCA has been my outlet to live out this mission.  I am honored to serve on our local board, to help in the summer soccer camps, and be blessed by our chaplain who is an Area Rep through her prayer for my professional soccer team.  I thank God for FCA and for its impact on me and what it will continue to do in the lives of others."

“FCA has helped me find freedom because it brings me closer to God and it also brings me into a safe space with other athletes who are going through the same stresses as me.”

"FCA has taught me that even though we play sports, that is not our identity. The one thing we can always count on is God.”

“FCA Staff, Tony Overstake, modeled for us at University of Oregon how to create community in sports. I took that model and brought it into the National Team by creating chapels and building community for believers to gather together.”
